Seventeen-year-old Tex is the sole carer for her disabled father while working long shifts at a local carwash to make ends meet. She’s in love with her co-worker Delano, from afar – and hanging out with him is a warm escape from the harsh reality of her home life.
When Tex catches Delano in the act with Katja, the despiteful carwash manager, he shatters her illusion of true love. Hurt and enraged, Tex sets out to get back at them, crossing paths with her own demons on the road to vengeance.

Jonas Smulders

Biography

Jonas Smulders (1994) is a Dutch actor and director based in Amsterdam. He started acting when he was 16 and made his film debut as an actor with the film “Even Cowboys Get to Cry” wich was selected for Berlinale Generation. After that more roles quickly followed. In 2015 he also started writing and directing his own short films. The reason to start directing came from him being on many different film sets and experiencing the manner of working from multiple directors.
