17 year old Sam crashes his moped in what appears to be no man's land just over the Dutch border in Wallonia. There he meets Gilles, the owner of an old fashioned food-truck, who is in danger of losing his license. Gilles embraces Sam and puts him to work in the truck. Meanwhile Sam falls deeply in love with Zola, a girl who works in the brothel across the street.
