In a hidden place, the daily routine of a retirement home unfolds as time seems to stand still. The penciled residents come to life on paper. Some are active, others rest or follow a fixed schedule to be repeated each day: medication, meals, games… Around them, machines are flashing, caregivers are busy and some crucifixes remind them of the death that lies in wait. Time fades away and nearby, stretches a forest.

Samuel Patthey
Biography
Samuel Patthey was born in Berlin in 1993, He is the son of an architect and a painter and spent a lively childhood immersed in art, culture and creativity. He studied Animation at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). In 2016, he spent half a year at the Shenkar Engineering and Design school in Tel Aviv. Living in Israel has been a source of inspiration that he used in directing Travelogue Tel Aviv which won many prizes in festivals around the world. Since 2018, he works as a film animation director at Fribourg in Switzerland.

Silvain Monney
Biography
Born in 1993, Silvain Monney spent his childhood reading books, comics and watching films. He studied Animation at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). Based in Fribourg, Switzerland, he works as a freelance animator and illustrator (press, posters, logos, comics, etc.) and gives drawing and paper cutting classes.
