Sam de Jong

Biography

Sam de Jong is celebrated as one of the leading filmmaking talents to come out of the Netherlands in recent years. Following his highly anticipated first feature film ‘Prince’ (2015) came his second international feature ‘Goldie’ (2019); it goes without saying these films were incredibly well received and placed Sam as a strong voice of the defining new wave of current filmmakers.

It all started with the viral-hit ‘Drank en Drugs’ – which received more than 12 million YouTube views in just a few weeks. In addition to his short films and features, Sam has made waves with his commercial work such as the award-winning ‘A-Z of Music’ with i-D and Marc Jacobs and global campaigns for the likes of Calvin Klein and adidas.
