Biography

Wiep Teeuwisse (1993) received her BA in animation from HKU University of the Arts in the Netherlands. A love of science and nature inspires the poetic storytelling and themes within her films. Cobwebs (2012), Facing the news(2013) and Depart at 22 (2015) have screened globally. The latter was awarded the Cristal d’Annecy in 2016. Her latest short film Intermission Expedition (2019) is currently touring festivals. As of January 2019, Wiep is following an MA in Directing Animation at the NFTS in London.
